A few years after the acquisition of the Spanish company Estambril International, the Belgian textile group CONCORDIA TEXTILES took over the company FUCHSHUBER TECHNO-TEX - which specializes in the production of flame-retardant functional and safety clothing - with effect from 1 January 2017, but after its takeover in Future will remain an independent company in Germany with administration in Lichtenstein and production in Balingen.

CONCORDIA Textiles is an internationally known company for the production of synthetic woven goods. These textiles are used for a wide variety of technical applications as well as for the fashionable outdoor area and in high-performance sports.

The production facility in Waregem / Belgium is vertically integrated and includes yarn coating, weaving and equipment, supplemented by its own accredited testing laboratory.

The CONCORDIA TEXTIL GROUP itself consists of a production unit in Suzhou (China), a subsidiary Estambril International in Sabadell (Spain), a joint venture project in Toela (Russia) and a ready-made factory in Dhaka (Bangladesh), whose consolidated sales in the year In 2016, 700 employees were employed by 700 employees.

FUCHSHUBER TECHNO-TEX is a well-known reference in the German market for the production of technical knits for personal protective equipment. With this acquisition, CONCORDIA TEXTILES is strengthening its position in an innovative niche market for flame retardant functional and safety clothing. In addition, there is an ideal complement between FUCHSHUBER TECHNO-TEX and the recently acquired Spanish subsidiary Estambril International. It focuses on the production of permanently flame-retardant woven fabrics and has a significant market position in the south of Europe, whereas FUCHSHUBER TECHNO-TEX specializes in the production of technical knits and apparel at a long established position in Central Europe. A very good synergy, as we mean here.
